Francisco Jaimes was born in Lázaro Cárdenas, Mexico. The seeds of his ambition and style began early: When he was five, his father decided to immigrate the family to the United States to pursue a better life. Likewise Francisco's mother influenced his fashion philosophy, believing that a respectable man always dressed in conservative, classy attire.
Francisco graduated from high school with multiple honors and twelve different scholarships.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature at the University of Washington in 2007. After graduating, he returned to pursue his fashion photography dream and earn his degrees in Photography and Art.
While studying at the Seattle-based Photographic Center Northwest, he found inspiration through internationally renowned visiting photographers. By day, Francisco worked as an executive assistant. He devoted every other waking moment to studying fashion literature, classroom photography projects, and preparing and directing multiple photo shoots.
In 2008 his photographs were presented at the University of Washington Medical Center gallery.
He currently resides in New York City where he focuses in fashion photography.
